VALMORENA BARBERA D’ASTI DOCG
Made with Barbera grapes
Barbera is a grape varietal indigenous to Piedmont and it’s one of the most important ones from this region. Valmorena is our most authentic and traditional interpretation of Barbera wine. Thanks to the vinification and maturation carried out in stainless steel vats and partially in oak casks, Valmorena preserves all the natural freshness and fruitiness of the varietal, showing at the same time great depth and persistence.
Color: very intense ruby red with purple reflections.
Aromatic Profile: very intense, vinous, floral, with hints of plum, dark cherry and violet.
Taste: vigorous, intense and balanced. Fresh and fruity. Persistent.
Food Pairings: Valmorena is a very versatile and medium-bodied wine. It goes wonderfully with appetizers, first courses with important sauces, white or red meats, boiled meats, game and medium-aged cheeses.
Suggested serving temperature: 18-20° C (65-68 °F).
Aging: Valmorena can also be drunk young, starting a few weeks after bottling and maintaining its best characteristics for at least the following 5 years.
